The comprehensive four-year research training programme combines practical experience with interdisciplinary research opportunities that include modules in lean innovation and intellectual property, an Accredited Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice (a Durham University mini-MBA), a three-month placement at a Procter & Gamble (P&G) UK or USA innovation centre and other activities that will contribute to a rewarding environment for PhD research in collaboration with Durham, Northumbria and Newcastle Universities, as well as the biotech company Prozomix.
